Army XI, CAG, PSB, Indian Oil in semis

Army XI, Punjab and Sind Bank, CAG and defending champions Indian Oil Corporation have progressed to the semi finals of the 89th All India MCC hockey tournament for the Murugappa Gold cup here tonight.
In Group- B matches today, Army thrashed Sail India Limited 6-2, while Punjab and Sind Bank had no difficulty in getting past IOB 4-1, while in Group-A, CAG defeated Namdhari XI 3-1 to lead the points table with 7 and IOC have also gained the equal number of points. The two would clash tomorrow to decide the top spot in the group.
