Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a truck, which was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu, and 23.9 kg of poppy straw was recovered during the search of the vehicle, they said.
Later, the truck driver, identified as Omkar Singh, was arrested and a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him, police added.
