The Nyokum Yullo Celebration Committee-2014 at Nirjuli made a huge difference with tiny tots performing Nyishi folk dance to the thunderous applause of the gathering.
Local dancers gave a loud message that next generation apprehensive of loss of culture of loss of identity has risen to the occasion.
"Der aye drust aye (It is better late than never)," Deputy Speaker Jomde Kena, speaking as chief guest, said in appreciation of the young performers and exhorted the present generation to maintain the spirit.
The traditional gifts given on the occasion is the greatest honour of the community to the guests which he assured to reciprocate in future.

Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries president Techi Lala exhorted the Nyishis to do away outdated taboos, take a vow to not commit the past mistakes and reform their attitude to become role models.
