Arunachal CM, Governor extend new year greetings

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu conveyed their greetings to the people of the state on the eve of new year.
In a message, the governor said that the new year ushers in hope of change and expectation for better days in the state.
New year also gives us a chance of making fresh resolve and pledge for review and reform. Let us have hope of progress and expectation for peace. Let us resolve to eliminate our limitations and pledge to strive hard for our states progress, the governor said.
Mishra added that in the new year, he has taken up a mission of Swachhta aur Nari Utthan which implies making the state capital Clean for all and safe for women.
Khandu in his greetings called for burying all differences and surge ahead as one unit Team Arunachal.
He called for filling up the 365 blank pages of 2018 with things that were missed in the bygone year like the love missed to express, the commitment missed to implement and the work missed to complete.
My goal this year is all set: To rededicate my heart and soul for development and welfare of each district, each community, each religion, each family and each individual of our beloved state.
The state governments commitment to provide people friendly governance and take the state on the path of accelerated development with peace and communal harmony will continue with the same vigour, Khandu asserted in his message.
