Arunachal Guv allocates departments to 2 advisors

Arunachal Pradesh Governor J P Rajkhowa today allocated departments to his advisors G S Patnaik and Y S Dadwal under the 'Business of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1998' with immediate effect and until further orders.
Both the advisors were appointed by the Centre to assist the Governor in his functioning after imposition of President's rule in the state on January 26.
Patnaik would be addressed as Advisor Finance, Planning & Development (FPD) and would look after Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Cooperation, Education, Environment and Forests, Finance, Fisheries, Health & Family Welfare and other departments.
He will also look after Planning, Programme Implementation Monitoring, Evaluation, Economics & Statistics, Power & Non-Conventional Energy Resources, Public Health Engineering and Water Supply, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, RWD, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Department of Science and Technology, Trade and Commerce and Urban Development, Municipal Administration and Government Estates.
Dadwal, who would be addressed as Advisor, Home, Political etc. (H&P) would look after - District Administration, Election, Home & Inter-State Border Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, Political (excluding Vigilance), PWD, Disaster Management, Transport & Civil Aviation, Youth Affairs and Sports, General Administration.
He would also look after Department of Development of Tirap and Changlang, Secretariat Administration, Excise and Narcotics, Culture Affairs, Mines, Labour & Employment, Land Management and Information Technology & Science & Technology, a Raj Bhawan communique informed.

Meanwhile, the Governor today joined the people of the state in paying tribute to the 'Father of Nation' on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, commemorating the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi tomorrow.
He expressed hope that the observation of the Day would promote global peace and non-violence.
In his message, the Governor said that to realise the dream of Mahatma Gandhi for 'Swachh Bharat', the Day is being observed as the 'National Cleanliness Day'.
Informing that the state is conducting 'Clean Arunachal' campaign, the Governor appealed to every citizen of of the state to rise and actively participate in the initiative.
