Arunachal Guv and CM extend greetings on Rongali Bihu and

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma and Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today greeted the people of the state on the eve of Rongali Bihu and Sangken festival of the Assamese and Khampti communities of the state.
Sharma conveyed warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam on the joyous occasion of Bohag Bihu, observed to celebrate the onset of Assamese New Year.
In his festival message, the Governor expressed hope that the celebration would reinforce love and goodwill among the people of the two neighbouring states and also wished the Khampti community on the eve of Sangken festival.
"May these festivals be a harbinger of a new dawn of warm and harmonious relationship among the people of North East India," he said.
Chief Minister Nabam Tuki also extended his warm greetings on Sangken and Bohag Bihu.
In his message Tuki hoped that these festivals would bring with it peace, prosperity and goodwill for the people of the state.
