"My government has decided to table the Lokayukta Bill in the ensuing Budget session of the Assembly in March next," Chief Minister Nabam Tuki said today during the 28th Statehood Day celebration here.
Highlighting various achievements of the state, Tuki said, "The state has moved from the nascent phase to one of the fastest growing ones in the country today.
"Social sectors, human resource development, tourism and infrastructure development witnessed a quantum leap all these years while we made satisfactory progress in promoting agriculture and allied sectors in the state," he said.
"The whole world stood behind Arunachal Pradesh to protest the racial death of Nido Tania and the Congress Party in its recent meeting has unanimously resolved to demand an anti-racial law," he said.
There has also been unfortunate incident along the inter-state boundary recently.
The state along with Assam government has drawn the attention of Union Home Ministry to find a lasting solution to the imbroglio, he said and appealed to people of both states to thwart attempt of divisive forces.
