On new songs, she said the melody is missing as the focus is on rhythm.
"I don't like it (the melody of new songs). These days everyone irrespective of their age wants to dance at weddings and they are not bothered about the song. They want rhythm to dance. So if the rhythm is good then the song will also be a hit," Bhosle said.
"We used to learn a lot from them," she said adding that youngsters who are learning music through television reality shows will not become good playback singers.
