Designers Ashish N Soni and Rajesh Pratap Singh dominated the runway with their subdued color palette at the Amazon India Fashion Week.
The veteran couturiers showcased their monochrome collection, predominantly in shades of black & white while, grey was also one of the key shades that featured in the collection.
The show was in collaboration with NEXA, Maruti Suzuki's initiative for 'premium experience', and the collection was inspired by the NEXA's colour palette, which is minimalistic with defining hues of black, white and chrome.
The walk on the runway began with Singh's asymmetrical and bold collection. The designer used a lot of black & white stripes, polka dots, nouveau plaids and tartan checks in his garments.
"We tried to use black & white in an interesting way rather using them in just simple black & white clothes. That is why there were lot of mixing of patterns like checks, polka dots and stripes," Singh told reporters post the show.
His collection also saw a wide use of footwears including boots and school girl shoes as Singh believes that they always work with his silhouettes.

Soni's collection offered insights into his innovative ideas of using his all-time love for black.
His collection featured suit paired with white asymmetric shirts, jackets and 'puddle pants', which broke the stereotypes by bringing different visual experience and introducing crowd with a new sense of style in menswear.
The volume trousers with wider leg shape and longer length gave the appearance of gathered folds at the hem.
"It was not literal inspiration-based show it was more of certain aesthetics that NEXA has. So, keeping in mind its color palette we begin with the use of black & white," Soni said.
