The Hyde Park Entertainment chief executive put the tennis court estate in the Encino/Sherman Oaks area on the market earlier this year after buying an Italian villa-style mansion in Bel-Air here for USD 8.25 million, Los Angeles Times reported.
The four-bedroom house, built in 1973, occupied more than an acre with a main residence, an outdoor patio, a pool, a lighted tennis court and a large motor court.
The deal was closed in early August, the report said.
As a producer, he has worked on a range of films including "Double Impact" (1991), "Bandits" (2001), "Bringing Down the House" (2003) and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" (2012).
Public records show that Amritraj had paid USD 750,000 for the property, the report said.
