Ashok Leyland rolls out light commercial vehicle 'DOST+'

Ashok Leyland today launched a new light commercial vehicle here with "higher" payload and "superior" mileage.
The company launched the 'DOST+' range, which follows its entry in the LCV segment with 'DOST'.
Speaking about the launch, Vinod K Dasari, Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, said, "With the latest addition of 'DOST+' in our product family, the LCV business is poised to be an important game changer for us."
The 'DOST+' and DOST would co-exist, helping the company address a bigger pie in the LCV segment, he said.
"With more than 1.7 lakh DOSTs already serving in the markets, this brand is a runaway success for Ashok Leyland With 'DOST+', we are extending the trust and reliability of this brand to the upper segment of LCVs," said Nitin Seth, president - Light Commercial Vehicles.
The 'DOST+' with its "superior mileage, excellent pickup, 18 per cent higher payload, 7 per cent more loading space and bigger, 15-inch tyres" add more value to every trip, ensuring higher earnings, he said.
"Moreover, we have doubled the warranty on the 'DOST+', a reflection of our confidence in this product," Seth added.
