Kutcher reportedly shot some of the scenes in Delhi and other parts of India as for the biopic as Jobs had spent time in the country as a backpacker when he was eighteen.
The film's world premiere will close the Sundance Film Festival tomorrow.
Directed by Joshua Michael Stern and written by Matthew Whitely, the film chronicles Jobs' journey from college dropout to one of the most revered entrepreneurs of the 20th century.
Part of the film was shot in the historic garage where Jobs first set up shop at his family's home in Palo Alto, California, the Hollywood Reporter said.
'jOBS' also stars Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J K Simmons and Matthew Modine.
Apart from Kutcher's film, Sony is also said to be working on a biopic with Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, whose previous credits include 'The Social Network' and 'Moneyball' fame.
Jobs, 56, died on October 5, 2011, after fight with pancreatic cancer.
