Ashwin, with two wins today, virtually sealed the individual championship title as the best driver of Formula Four.
With one more race to be held here tomorrow and two more in the final leg to be held in December in New Delhi, Ashwin has tallied 161 points while Sarosh secured 114 points followed by Saran Vikram (Mars Racing) with 104.
Another talented competitor Saran Vikram of Mars Racing could manage only the seventh spot at the qualifying.
Starting at the pole position, Ashwin completely controlled the race, barring the seventh and eighth laps of the 10-lap event when he was behind team-mate Sarosh for a brief period.
Such was Ashwin and Sarosh's domination that third-placed Gautham Parekh of Wallace Sport was a distance away.
However, the story was completely different in the second race held later in the evening as all drivers recorded slower timings.
