Ashwin Sundar surge into lead

Chennai lad Ashwin Sundar won a vital race to surge into lead the MRF FF 1600 series after third round, while Tarun Reddy also won an event in the FMSCI National racing championship at Irungattukottai near Sriperumbudur here today.
Ashwin, the championship leader increased his lead to the title finishing third on the podium after winning the last race of the round.
The two races for the MRF Formula Ford 1600 series, witnessed 15 year old Tarun recording his first career win in seater category and he is placed in the second spot of the championship.
Two races were held in the MRF FF 1600 class, the prime event of this national championship to complete the third round of the series and the fourth round is slated to be held here during third week of August.
