The Assam government has allocated Rs 21,006.90 crore to different departments under the Plan head for financial year 2014-15, the state Assembly was informed today.
Of this amount, the government has already released Rs 780.30 crore to the departments, Planning and Development Minister Tanka Bahadur Rai said in a written reply to a query by Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) MLA Utpal Dutta.

During 2013-14 fiscal, Assam received an allocation of Rs 12,500 crore of Plan funds, the minister told in reply to a separate question by AGP MLA Bhupen Roy.
