Assam blast victim succumbs to injuries

One of the seriously victims injured in a grenade blast suspected to have been triggered by the ULFA at Paltan Bazar near the railway station here on Sunday died of his injuries today in hospital.
The man, Rajib Paul, who was seriously injured in the blast died in hospital this evening," Guwahati City Senior Superintendent of Police Anand P Tiwari told PTI here.
GMC Hospital Superintendent Ramen Talukdar said Paul was hit by a pellet in the stomach resulting in excessive blood loss.
At least 15 persons were injured injured in the blast July 28 at the busy Paltan Bazar area here.
