Assam Chief Secretary emphasises on edu administrative reforms

Assam Chief Secretary V K Pipersenia today emphasised on educational administrative reforms in all levels by adopting a new method of teacher training for outcome of learning.
Chairing the 30th executive committee meeting of Assam Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) Mission here, the Chief Secretary said reviewing of the implementation on the work undertaken by the SSA.
The meeting discussed various issues, including minutes of the 29th Executive Committee meeting and action taken report on it and Project Approval Board (PAB) Commitment and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) suggestion during 2016-17 and others for approval of the Annual Report and Audit Report of SSA Assam for 2015-16.
The meeting also reviewed the achievement reports during 2016 etc, besides being apprised about the progress of Annual Work Plan and Budget 2016-17, Mid-day Meal Scheme of Assam and others.
Aruna Rajoria, Mission Director-cum-Member Secretary, Executive Committee, SSA, Assam, apprised the works plan of the SSA and sought suggestions and approvals, officials said.
