Around 3.83 lakh people are bearing the brunt of the floods in 16 districts of the state.
According to a report by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), a 21-year girl got electrocuted in Lakhimpur district.
With this, the total number of persons losing their lives in flood-related incidents has gone up to 25, including seven in Guwahati.
The ASDMA said more than 3.83 lakh people are affected in Lakhimpur, Bongaigaon, Jorhat, Golaghat, Cachar, Dhemaji, Biswanath, Karimganj, Sonitpur, Majuli, Barpeta, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Morigaon and Chirang districts.

The ASDMA said 932 villages are under water at present and nearly 30,000 hectares of crop area has been damaged.
Over 1.4 lakh people have been hit by the deluge in Karimganj, while 80,000 have been affected in Lakhimpur.
The authorities are running 188 relief camps and distribution centres in 10 districts, where 16,705 persons have taken shelter.
Many roads, embankments and bridges have been damaged by the swirling flood waters in various districts.
The Brahmaputra river is flowing above the danger mark at Nimatighat in Jorhat, Tezpur in Sonitpur, Goalpara and Dhubri towns.
