Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi on Friday greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Bijoya Dashami and Dussehra.
"I extend my warm wishes to the people of Assam on the occasion of Bijoya Dashami and Dussehra which reinforce the eternal message of victory of good over evil," the Governor said in a message.
The occasion of Bijoya Dashami and Dussehra "consign our vices, promote our virtues and strengthen the bond of universal brotherhood, friendship and camaraderie among all fellow being in our society".
Meanwhile, Durga Puja festivities in the state concluded with the immersion of the deities which began since afternoon in all districts of the state.
