The Chief Minister said there was a need to revitalise the ATCL to pursue its objectives more vigorously and to lend life to sick tea gardens, an official release said here.
Gogoi chaired a meeting of ministers and senior officials and discussed several issues linked with the ATCL and emphasised on evolving a strategy for the Corporation.
He also reviewed the problems faced by garden workers and said the needful would be done to solve the problems.
"We will do all possible to solve the problems of tea garden labourers and will jointly formulate a strategy to revive sick tea gardens in the state," he said.
