Assam govt to form task force to protect rhinos at Kaziranga

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has asked the Chief Secretary to form a task force to prevent poaching of rhinos at the Kaziranga National Park.
The task force will be formed under Additional Director General of Police R M Singh, an official release said.
Chief Forest Conservator N K Basu, Kaziranga National Park Director, Forest Conservator (Wildlife) and SPs of Golaghat, Nagaon, Sonitpur and Karbi Anglong will be the members of the force, it said.
