Assam Guv pays tributes to Netaji

Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi today paid rich tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of his 121st birth anniversary.
Netaji will always be remembered with the highest degree of reverence for his immense contribution to the independence struggle," he said adding the nationalist leader personified unparalleled courage and charisma.
His sacrifice for the freedom of the country was "colossal" and his inspiring slogan Give me blood and I shall give you freedom arouses patriotism in all. Netaji's work will continue to inspire the young generation and make the youths more cultured, competent and disciplined, the governor said.
We should recall the sacrifices made by Netaji and thousand others by contributing in our own way to the growth of our nation, he said.

The best tribute to Netaji would be to work resolutely against all types of injustice and root out corruption to build a country of his dreams, Mukhi added.
