"Mor Desh aru Mur Manuh", title of the Assamese translation, is published by Lawyers' Book Stall, a 75-year-old publishing house, and will be released on April two, the owner of the publishing house, Bhaskar Dutta Baruah, said today.
The Dalai Lama will also deliver a public speech and participate in an interactive session at the programme jointly organised by the Lawyer's Book Stall and IIT, Guwahati.
"Mor Desh aru Mor Manuh" is the first Assamese version of any book written by the revered spiritual leader translated by Indrani Laskar, Dutta Baruah said.
Dutta Baruah said the publishing house planned to translate some more of his works in Assamese.

The Dalai Lama is also scheduled to attend the concluding function of the platinum jubilee celebration of The Assam Tribune and the golden jubilee of the Dainik Asom on April one.
He will also deliver a talk on 'A Human Approach to World Peace' on the occasion which will be followed by an interactive session.
