Assistant professor commits suicide in Punjab

An assistant professor in a college here allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train here, Government Railway Police said today.
The deceased identified as Mohit Sharma, a computer science professor in Doaba College was found dead on railway tracks last evening, they said.
A suicide note was recovered from the spot in which he held nobody responsible for the extreme step however, said that he had an argument with his father-in-law and was upset over it, they said.
No case has been registered in this regard, the GRP said, adding, further investigation is on.
