At 3.5 deg C, Churu coldest in Rajasthan

Mercury dropped to 3.5 degree Celsius in Churu, which remained the coldest place in Rajasthan last night, the meterological department said today.
Pilani, Dabok, Bikaner and Sriganganagar recorded minimum temperatures of 6.1, 7, 7.3 and 8 degree Celsius, while the night temperature in Ajmer, Jaipur, Barmer and Kota was 9.5, 10.3, 11.9 and 12.6 degrees respectively, according to a Met report.
The night temperature is likely to increase by a few degrees during the next 24 hours, the department said.
