On the second day of its three-day national convention, SP national general secretary Ramji Lal Suman said that after the poor showing in the general elections, the time has come to oust traitors from the party.
He added that those engaging in sycophancy, too, should be shown the door.
SP national general secretary and spokesman Ram Gopal Yadav had yesterday said that several traitors were active in the party, but they escape taking advantage of the leniency of party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
"I have a list of such ministers and written complaints from the workers and youths. We have to think about them," he had said.
SP managed to win just five out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
