Athawale asks Naxalites to join mainstream

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale tonight called upon the Naxalites to shun the violence and join the mainstream.
Describing the killing of 25 CRPF personnel by the Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district as a grave development, the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment said while the Naxals professed about the well-being of the down-trodden, their victims included Dalit and OBC people as well.
"Naxals must consider who is falling prey to their attacks. They should join the mainstream," he said.
