Prices of atta and sooji fell by up to Rs 40 per 50 kg at the wholesale grains market today on sluggish demand against sufficient stocks position.
However, other prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled at last levels.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in atta and sooji prices.
In the national capital, atta flour mills and sooji drifted by Rs 10 and Rs 40 to Rs 870-875 and Rs 1,000-1,005 per 50 kg, respectively.
