Deakin University, Australia today said it has inked a memorandum of understanding with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for conducting data analytics and impact evaluation studies in the skills ecosystem.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) is for a duration of five years.
"The collaboration will be on projects for conducting data analytics and impact evaluation studies in the skills ecosystem," Deakin University said in a statement.
These projects would help bridge the skill gap and enhance quality training institutions across the country, it said.
"Deakin University will be a knowledge partner for NSDC towards developing an impact assessment and monitoring and evaluation framework for its projects," it added.
Deakin University CFO Kerrie Parker said the partnership with the NSDC is an "opportunity for us to bring our expertise to a government organisation".
