Harish Kumar was attacked around 10.40 PM last night when he had gone to a dairy to fetch milk.
"When Harish was returning home, he was suddenly attacked with an axe. After the incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to another hospital. He died during treatment," a police official said.
