As many as 1753 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) trainees from Patiala, Rajpura, Bassi Pathana, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Roopnagar, Baba Bakala and Batala got their placements in Maruti, Hero Honda, Godrej, Toyota and Tata Motors, an official spokesman said today.
The ITIs in Punjab are focusing on employability of the trainees by providing them training according to the requirement of the industry, he said.
