Auto rickshaw driver hacks parents to death

An auto rickshaw driver allegedly hacked his parents to death in downtown Behala area of city today and tried to secretly bury their bodies, police said.
37-year old Sovan Sarkar, however, was caught by the neighbours who informed the police about the matter.
Sovan allegedly inflicted multiple wounds with knife and blunt objects on his father Paresh Sarkar (70) and mother Usha (65).
After killing them, Sovan tried to bury the bodies in the courtyard of the house.
The neighbours, who had been witnessed quarrel between Sovan and his parents over the last few days, barged into the house and discovered the bodies. They kept Sovan in their custody and informed the police.

According to police, Sovan was having an affair with a girl for last few months. After a break-up, he went under depression and had been blaming parents for the same.
