The legislators unanimously passed the state annual budget for the current fiscal amounting to Rs 7,576.56 crore as presented by state finance minister Lalsawta on October 9.
Lalsawta could not present the state annual regular budget earlier due to the absence of clarity on the annual plan outlay for the current financial year and on the sharing pattern of centrally sponsored schemes.
He had sought vote-on-account two times before presenting the regular budget for four months in March and for addition three months in July.
