A 'Make in UP' pavilion will also be established in the crafts hub.
"Directions have been issued to ensure that Avadh Shilpgram remains operational throughout the year, and efforts be taken to make available all necessary and basic facilities," Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey was quoted as saying in the statement issued by the state government.
He further stated that efforts will be made to give every possible encouragement to vanishing trades and conventional genres of employment. The venue will also act as a place to get information about products made from traditional industries.
"A Make in UP Pavilion will be established here. The pavilion will have units from different industries including gems and jewellery, mobile, machinery parts, electronic products, carpets, leather products and textiles," Pandey added.
