Aviation security official suspended for sexual harassment

The civil aviation ministry today suspended a senior Mumbai-based BCAS official on various charges, including alleged sexual harassment and insubordination, a ministry source said today.
Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is the country's country's apex aviation security agency.
B S Tiwari, working as BCAS deputy director in Mumbai, has been placed under suspension for his alleged involvement in two cases of sexual harassment at the workplace as well gross insubordination, the source said.
Tiwari, the source said, also refused to join his new posting to Imphal and continued "defying" the government over the issue.
