Awami League general secretary and Bangladesh transport minister Obaidul Qader said that "A delegation led by me will be in New Delhi in February on an invite from BJP general secretary Ram Madhav. It is a party to party invite".
He did not elaborate on the visit.
Qader had last night lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in strengthening Indo-Bangla bilateral relationship.
"India is a our time tested friend, it stood beside us at the time of crisis. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had played a crucial role in further strengthening of the bilateral relations by speeding up the process of signing of the Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) in 2015. The bilateral relation has achieved new heights. It is a constructive partnership," Quader had said.
