Awareness programme on bike stunts

In view of bike stunts on roads becoming a growing menace in the Guwahati city causing a lot of casualties, the Transport Department, Assam is organising an awareness programme tomorrow on the adverse effects of bike stunts and rash driving.
A Kamrup Metro district administration press release here today said bike riders race down at alarmingly high speed through traffic on roads for impressing people leading to major accidents and losing their own life as well as of others.
The Transport Department is organising the programme at Shradhanjali Kanon on Zoo Road here to promote awareness and education of the general road users, especially the biker's community to improve rider's safety, the release added.
