The launch of ePronto Express comes on the back of immense market opportunity thrown up by India's booming e-commerce sector, AWL said in a statement.
With more than 10 dedicated warehouses, ePronto Express will allow e-tailers to deliver their products in 800 cities across India, it said adding that a state-of-the-art IT service will enable efficient tracking of each shipment.
"E-tailing requires a more focused, meticulous and innovative approach towards order fulfilment, and the robust customers support, IT structure and dedicated team of ePronto Express will ensure that. At present, we are delivering to over 900 pin codes and aim to reach 2,000 by 2016," AWL Chief Executive Officer Rahul Mehra said.
EPronto Express will provide other services like forward logistics, marketplace logistics, reverse logistics and cash management services, he added.
The service will also specialise operations in the untapped segment of luxury fashion and fragile products like sanitary ware.
