Axis Bank launches app for feature phones

Axis Bank has launched Axis OK - a light, multilingual, non-data app for basic banking services through feature phones.
"The app, which is under 900 KB in size is one of the lightest banking applications currently available for download," the bank said in a statement today.
The app empowers users of feature phones to access basic banking digitally, without consuming data.
Besides providing the customer with a snapshot bank accounts and debit/credit cards, the app enables fund transfers as well as mobile and DTH recharge.

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages names Seema Nair as executive director-HR

* Bottling partner of Coca Cola, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages has appointed Seema Nair as Executive Director-Human Resources.

She succeeds Gaurav Chaturvedi, who has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer, Coca-Cola Pinya Beverages, the company said in a statement.
Coca-Cola Pinya Beverages is the bottling operations of the Coca-Cola company in Myanmar.
Seema brings with her over 20 years of experience and has come from Cisco Systems where she worked for over 8 years.

Intex launches 6 kg front-loading automatic washing machine * Consumer durables firm Intex Technologies today announced the launch of a 6 kg front-loading automatic washing machine priced at Rs 23,490.
The model is designed with a special 16 unique program according to different cloth types which results in the most effective way to wash clothes, the company statement said.
