B-Town condoles filmmaker Rama Naidu's death

Bollywood celebrities today condoled the death of legendary film producer D Rama Naidu while acknowledging his immense contribution to Indian cinema.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award-winner produced films in different languages including Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi and Bhojpuri.
Riteish Deshmukh took to twitter, saying, "Legendary filmmaker Daggubati Rama Naidu passes away-his contribution in building Indian Cinema is immense. Thank you sir. RIP."
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, "RIP D Rama Naidu Sahab. Your contribution to Indian cinema will inspire all of us and many generations."
"Padma bhushana #Dr.Rama Naidu Garu... Thank you for enriching cinema.. We may never see the likes of you... Salute... RIP," said actor-director Prakash Raj.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar wrote, "Sad to know Dadasaheb Phalke awardee, veteran producer of South and Hindi films, D Rama Naidu is no more. Heart goes out to the family. RIP, Sir."
Rama Naidu is survived by his children -- producer Suresh Babu Daggubati, actor Venkatesh Daggubati and daughter Daggubati Lakshmi. Actor Rana Daggubati, a Telugu and Bollywood actor, is his grandson.
