B-Town greets fans on Gurpurab

Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Lata Mangeshkar today greeted fans on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Sikhism's founder Guru Nanak Dev.
Bachchan wrote, "Happy Gurupurb! Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji.. Nov 6.. Lakh lakh vadhaiyaan!!"
SRK called on his admirers to follow Guru Nanak's teachings of peace and kindness.
"May the peace and kindness that came to this world today prevail all over. A Happy Baba Guru Nanak Birthday to all. Serenity & Love," he tweeted.
"Wish you all a very happy Guru Nanak Jayanti," melody queen Lata Mangeshkar posted.

Akshay Kumar, whose real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, wrote first slogan uttered by the first Sikh guru.

"Nanak Naam Chardi Kalaa Tere Bhane Sarbat Ka Bhala. Wishing you all a very Happy Gurupurab," Kumar quoted.
Boman Irani said, "Gurupurub di lakh lakh vadhaiyan."
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted, "May the name of WaheGuru be enshrined in your heart. May Guru Ji's divine love and blessings be with you always. HAPPY GURPURAB.
