The celebrities took to Twitter to extend their wishes on the auspicious occasion.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan not only prayed to God for love and peace among all, he also asked people to stay united as the three festivals Dussehra, Eid and festival of Jewish people, Yom Kippur, fell on the same date this year.
"EID MUBARAK...! may the Almighty bring love togetherness and peace among us all. Dushera.. Yom Kippur.. Eid.. All festivals falling at same time together.. Then why can we not all be together in peace!!" the 71-year-old actor tweeted.
