"In addition, they (SMEs) also received enquiries for Rs 150 crore, which will be finalised after further discussions," the Department of Industries and Commerce, which organised the meet in association with various others, said.
Seven sectors of Kerala's industry - Food Processing (Food and Spices), handlooms, textiles and garments, rubber, wood based industries, ayurveda and herbal, electrical and electronics and traditional sector such as handicrafts and bamboo were showcased at the meet.
"The meet helped the small scale manufacturers showcase the unique products of the state before the international buyers," the department said in a release.
Encouraged by the success of the meet, the Industries department has already announced it would made an annual event from now on.
