'Babylon 5' to return in movie reboot

American space opera television series 'Babylon 5' is being rebooted as a feature film.
J Michael Straczynski said that it is planned for the movie to begin production in 2016, reported Digital Spy.
The writer said that he hopes that original cast members will return for the film.
"I'd love to see Bruce (Boxleitner) as the President of the Earth Alliance", he said.
It is hoped that original 'Babylon 5' producers Warner Bros will greenlight the film. If the studio declines, Straczynski's Studio JMS banner will fund and produce the project.
The original 'Babylon 5' series ran from 1994 to 1998.

Straczynski has previously spoken about his desire to return the sci-fi series to television.
