A decision to this effect was taken by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal during a meeting with Director General of NDRF at his residence this evening.
Appreciating the relentless services rendered by the Indian Army and NDRF personnel during rescue operation carried out at Jalandhar Building Collapsed Tragedy site, Badal honoured the Commandant NDRF & Operation In-charge R K Verma with a sword and a memento.
