Kejriwal, along with some "political fugitives and entertainers" from Punjab is "misleading" the people with his political gimmicks, whereas on issue of SYL, his government has submitted affidavit against the interests of the state, he claimed.
Speaking on the sidelines of Sangat Darshan programme in Fatehgarh Churian Assembly segment, Badal said it is a "stark reality" that the Delhi government headed by Kejriwal has adopted a "hostile posture towards the state on the emotive issue of SYL canal which cannot be tolerated at any cost".
Stressing that the SAD-BJP government is duty-bound to protect every single drop of water in the state, Badal said, "I pledge that our government will not allow the anti-Punjab forces to deprive us of our legitimate share in river waters."
Alleging that AAP and Congress are "two faces of the same coin" and both of them don't have any sympathy with Punjab or its people, he claimed both the parties "just want to plunder the wealth of state for their vested political interests".
On the sacrilege incident in Malerkotla, the Chief Minister said some forces envious of the state are repeatedly attempting to disturb the hard-earned peace and amity, but the state government is committed to "crush the ugly heads" of such forces.
"An enquiry into the incident is in progress," Badal added.
