"The AAP leadership manged to rule in Delhi by befooling the public. But the people of Punjab would never let them to succeed in their nefarious designs," he told mediapersons on the sidelines of last day of his Sangat Darshan programme in Muktsar Assembly constituency.
Asked about reports of eight Punjabi youths stranded in Malaysia, the Chief Minister said the state government would soon take up this issue with the Ministry of External Affairs for their safe return after getting detailed inputs on this.
Meanwhile, at Kapur in Jalandhar, Badal said it is
unfortunate that Sikhs in the Valley are facing hardships. A delegation of the Akali MPs would soon meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and top brass of the Centre to raise this issue with them.

"The state government is fully committed to help the Sikhs. A delegation of Sikhs from the Valley would visit the state after the Independence Day and the government will hold parleys with them to resolve their issues," he added.
Over the attack on RSS' Punjab vice president Jagdish Gagneja last week, Badal said police are probing the case and the culprits would soon be behind the bars.
