Additional Director General of Police (Crime) H S Awasthi revealed the identity of the girl's parents and their residential address while talking to reporters after an hour-long meeting with members of her family.
The Supreme Court has directed not to disclose the identity of rape victims and it is also an offence under Section 228 A of the Indian Penal Code.
The girl was allegedly abducted from her house on December 31 and gang-raped by the two constables in the police station premises prompting the authorities to terminate them and suspend the SHO.
"The victim was taken to Musajhag police station and allegedly raped there," Superintendent of Police (City) Lallan Singh had said.
District Magistrate Shambhu Nath today said a financial assistance of Rs five lakh was also given to the family members of the victim from the Chief Minister's fund.
Night duty in-charge of the police station Himanshu Shukla and head constable Udayveer Singh were also suspended today and sub-inspector Sobharan Singh Yadav has been shunted to police lines.
