Badrinath chopper crash: Five Vadodara passengers on way home

All the five passengers from Vadodara, who were in the helicopter that met with an accident in Uttarakhand today, were safe and returning home, kin of one of the passengers said.
"I talked to my father Navinbhai and mother Jasodaben, who said all of them are safe," their son Siddharth Patel told PTI.
According to Patel, apart from his parents, there is one more couple-- Harish Rathod and his wife Leelaben-- and a a priest of a temple located on the outskirts of Vadodara, Ramesh Patel alias Ketan Maharaj. All of them are residents of Sama locality in Vadodara.
"All of them are expected to reach Vadodara on June 12," Patel said.
A crew member was killed and two pilots suffered injuries when a helicopter carrying pilgrims met with an accident while taking off from the Himalayan shrine of Badrinath in Uttarakhand today.
The police officer said the helicopter got disbalanced while taking off due to insufficient air pressure and fell down. The accident took place around 0745 hrs.
The Agusta 119 helicopter, belonging to Mumbai-based private operator Krestal Aviation, was on its way from Badrinath to Haridwar.
