Bains brothers to float political party

Two independent legislators,who had been vocal against the policies of the Parkash Singh Badal government in Punjab, today announced to float a new political party .
Balwinder Singh Bains, an independent MLA from Ludhiana South assembly seat, who has recently set up a social platform 'Insaaf Group', said here that he and his brother Simarjit Singh Bains, also an MLA from Atam Nagar assembly seat, would float a political a party to contest the 2017 assembly elections.
Bains told reporters that he is meeting like minded people to explore the possibility of forming a political party.
He said that he had surveyed Rupanagar, Hoshiarpur and Pathankot districts and found that people of Punjab were looking for an alternative in the state.
If any like minded party, including Aam Aadmi Part (AAP) would like to share seats with them, they will take a call at the time of elections, he said.
Bains alleged that both Akali and Congress leaders are "part of mafia" in Punjab.

He alleged that even Congress leader Amarinder Singh is part of the syndicate and had played role in vacating the Dhuri assembly seat so that the SAD may gain majority in the Vidhan Sabha.
Bains alleged that sand mining was controlled by Akali leaders and now they control almost all businesses.
He said that Moga molestation case was a shameful act and alleged "They (administration) have pressurised the family of victim girl to compromise with the Badal family," he said.
Bains also met Harish Chadha an RTI activist and discussed the issue of illegal mining in Rupnagar.
He said that the 'Insaaf group' would expose the SAD over sand mining in the state.
Last month, Bains brothers had to cool their heels behind bars for some time following their arrest for alleged illegal mining.
They are the strong critic of the Badal family in the state.
